My Financial Situation...
The University of Bristol have recently received extra funding, with which they have decided to subsidise fees for second degree students. Therefore, instead of £19,100 per annum plus inflation, the fees are now £9,000! This was very exciting news for me as a second degree student, however this means I still have approximately £50,000 worth of fees to raise. As I'm sure you can appreciate this is a phenomenal sum of money for which I cannot get a loan and while my family are here to give me full emotional support, they are not able to support me financially. I am currently working full time and saving as much of my salary as possible in order to add to my savings of £6,000. I hope that these savings, along with a maintenance loan from Student Finance England (SFE), which should be approximately £3,500 per year, will pay for my accommodation and living expenses over the 5 year course.
However, this plan still leaves me with around £50,000 worth of fees unpaid for, hence my desperate need for generous sponsors. Without this sponsorship my veterinary dreams will never become a reality, so please, whether you are a wealthy individual, a company or some other organisation, consider your ability to sponsor my quest to become a vet.
